[7:30pm-9:00pm] Del Mar Drama Presents Aurand Harris’ Children’s Play, “Androcles and the Lion”

One of the most popular children’s plays ever written comes to Bartlett Theatre at Del Mar College. “Androcles and the Lion” revolves around a group of strolling players who introduce stock characters of Commedia del Arte—the miserly Pantalone, the bragging Captain, the romantic Lovers, the servant Arlequin, and an endearing Lion.

Aesop’s fable becomes a colorful theatrical experience with this play being a family-friendly production with wonderful messaging of friendship, independence and standing up for others.

Plan now to join Del Mar Drama for a magical evening of theatre.

Tickets are $5.
