DMC Women’s History Month Display: “Trailblazing Women”
Description:

Del Mar College celebrates Women’s History Month by recognizing great local, regional, world or personal women who have impacted the lives of students.

Get acquainted with some “trailblazing women” shared by English 2341 students who wrote short descriptions about the achievements of a woman of their choice.

All are encouraged to view the display and read the fascinating vignettes located in the atrium of the Coles Classroom Building.

The display will remain available through March 30.

This month-long event is free and open to the public.

Description:

It’s tax time, again!

Trying to make sense of the different filing forms can be a struggle.

And, paying for an accountant to prepare returns may not be part of your budget.

Del Mar College students trained in tax and accounting software will provide free services (first come, first served) for area filers who make less than $50,000 per year.

This free service is offered through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.

This services is available every Tuesday and Thursday through April 13 (except during Spring Break, March 13 to 18), from 2 to 6 p.m.

We teach you how to create a customer-focused online brand that will convert your clients and keep them coming back for more. This class covers online branding, image sourcing, and content development that will make your site stand out. Cost: $25 Fee must be paid online no later than 3/27/2017; 4:00pm. Reservation not secured until payment is made. Seminar fee assistance is available for qualifying businesses. Refund Policy: A full refund will be given if requested 24 hours prior to the start of the seminar/workshop. If there is a special circumstance and you are not eligible for a full refund, please call Monica Benavides at (361) 698-1021 to discuss other options. If the event is cancelled, all fees will be returned.
