DMC Women’s History Month Display: “Trailblazing Women”
Description:

Del Mar College celebrates Women’s History Month by recognizing great local, regional, world or personal women who have impacted the lives of students.

Get acquainted with some “trailblazing women” shared by English 2341 students who wrote short descriptions about the achievements of a woman of their choice.

All are encouraged to view the display and read the fascinating vignettes located in the atrium of the Coles Classroom Building.

The display will remain available through March 30.

This month-long event is free and open to the public.

Description:
This seminar will be a practical application in accomplishing the important step of positioning your business for government contracting. In order to engage in commerce with any gov’t agency, a business must be registered and have a profile associated with each. This workshop will detail many ‘live’ registration sites that are maintained at the federal, state, and local contracting levels. Actual Gov’t agency sites will be visited that are essential to do business with the government. Sites to be explored are varied and include; DUNS, EIN, SAM, SBA-DSBS, CMBL, and others including local sites. No cost Room 141

Description:
This seminar will provide prospective new business owners the information they need to start a successful business. Topics will include: The services provided by the Small Business Development Center, Starting a Small Business, Small Business Loans & Financing Requirements, Business Plan, Licensing/Permit Information, Resources, Questions & Answers.
