If you are enrolled in your last semester of classes, YOU (not your instructor) must apply for graduation whether you plan to participate in commencement ceremonies or not.

The deadline to apply for spring graduation for the May ceremonies is Tuesday, February 28.

[2:00pm-6:00pm] Free Tax Services Provided by DMC Accounting Students
Description:

Itís tax time, again!

Trying to make sense of the different filing forms can be a struggle.

And, paying for an accountant to prepare returns may not be part of your budget.

Del Mar College students trained in tax and accounting software will provide free services (first come, first served) for area filers who make less than $50,000 per year.

This free service is offered through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.

This services is available every Tuesday and Thursday through April 13 (except during Spring Break, March 13 to 18), from 2 to 6 p.m.

Description:
We will take you through the entire web design process, including selecting a great name, choosing a host, page layout, site design, content development, publishing, and Search Engine Optimization. You will learn to use the tools you need to create a winning design that will drive customers and grow sales. Cost: $25 Fee must be paid online no later than 2/27/2017; 4:00pm. Reservation not secured until payment is made. Seminar fee assistance is available for qualifying businesses. Refund Policy: A full refund will be given if requested 24 hours prior to the start of the seminar/workshop. If there is a special circumstance and you are not eligible for a full refund, please call Monica Benavides at (361) 698-1021 to discuss other options. If the event is cancelled, all fees will be returned.



[7:30pm-8:30pm] DMC Faculty Recital with Violinist Todd Ehle and Pianist Shao-Shan Chen
Description:

Del Mar College faculty members Todd Ehle, violinist and professor of music, and Shao-Shan Chen, pianist and associate professor of music, will perform an evening of recital music featuring W.A. Mozartís Sonata in E minor, KV 304, R. Vaughan Williamsí The Lark Ascending and Max Bruchís The Scottish Fantasy.
