If you are enrolled in your last semester of classes, YOU (not your instructor) must apply for graduation whether you plan to participate in commencement ceremonies or not.

The deadline to apply for spring graduation for the May ceremonies is Tuesday, February 28.

[2:00pm-6:00pm] Free Tax Services Provided by DMC Accounting Students
Description:

It’s tax time, again!

Trying to make sense of the different filing forms can be a struggle.

And, paying for an accountant to prepare returns may not be part of your budget.

Del Mar College students trained in tax and accounting software will provide free services (first come, first served) for area filers who make less than $50,000 per year.

This free service is offered through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.

This services is available every Tuesday and Thursday through April 13 (except during Spring Break, March 13 to 18), from 2 to 6 p.m.

[7:30pm-9:00pm] Guest Pianist Avguste Antonov in Concert
Description:

A dedicated performer of 20th and 21st century American living composers, Avguste Antonov has performed around the world and across North America.

Over the years, he has worked with composers Carter Pann, Raina Murnak, Matthew Lewis, Till Meyn, Matthew Saunders, Robert Rollin, William Vollinger and others.

Antonov has been featured as soloist with many ensembles including the San Jose State University and City Wind Symphonies, the University City Symphony, the Alton Symphony Orchestra, the Tulsa Camerata and the Lakeland Community Orchestra.

Antonov’s recital program will include “The Melancholy Rags” Book 1- The Farewell Rag and The Redline Shuffle by Gregory Hutter; The Bills by Carter Pann; and Reverie (Villa D’Este), Fantasy (Film Noir), Air (Dublinesque) and Root Beer Rag by Billy Joel.
